的 #你AreWelcomeHere scholarship program recognizes international students with a vision for embracing intercultural understanding. Beginning in Fall 2021, ODU will offer two annual, renewable scholarships for up to four years of study that cover 50% of tuition at the time of initial enrollment. 的 scholarships are open to first-year international students admitted for 本科 degree-seeking study in all academic majors and fields of study and applied to tuition costs at ODU. Successful applicants will be dedicated to furthering the #你AreWelcomeHere message by bridging intercultural divides. Applicants will submit a 500-1000 word written essay or a 2-5 minute video about their ideas for advancing intercultural learning and understanding at ODU.

- Participate in at least 10 hours of cultural sharing and engagement with the local community
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Enroll and successfully complete a minimum of 12 credits for Fall and Spring semesters

- 你 are a first-year, 本科, international applicant of any major applying to Old Dominion University. 国际 applicants are individuals intending to apply for an F-1 visa who hold citizenship in a country outside the U.S. and who don't also possess U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
- 你 demonstrate interest and initiative in leadership and intercultural learning.
- 你 meet the admission criteria and adhere to the deadlines at Old Dominion University.
- 你 complete a scholarship application and a 500-1,000 word essay or a two-to-five minute video describing your ideas for advancing intercultural learning and understanding at ODU, and how you plan to apply your ideas at the school you are applying to.
